FAQ · BILL
BILL sales tax FAQ
Every business is different. If your question isn’t here, ask a real person.
Does GoodVat integrate with BILL?
Our BILL integration is in development. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you as soon as it opens. In the meantime, our team can bulk-import your transactions from a BILL export, so you don’t have to wait to get compliant.
Do I still need GoodVat if BILL handles tax?
BILL sends invoices and collects payments, with tax from your settings. It doesn’t work out what tax applies where, track thresholds or file returns. GoodVat fills that gap: it tracks every threshold across all the places you sell, works out what you owe, and our local partners register you and file your returns.
What does GoodVat use from BILL?
GoodVat reads your sales invoices, credit notes, customers, items, tax codes. Counted against every threshold and used to prepare your returns.
Can GoodVat register my business and file my returns?
Yes. Registration and filing are done by our vetted local tax partners in each region, using the data already in GoodVat. Because the work differs by country, it’s priced per country and quoted upfront. If you’d rather file yourself, every plan includes ready-to-file returns.
Which countries does GoodVat cover?
Sales tax, VAT and GST in 140+ countries — every US state and local jurisdiction, the EU, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and more.
